Bavarian-Italian MTB Team tackles international elite
For the 2011 cross-country and marathon season, corratec
presents the aspiring and internationally successful team
corratec-Elettroveneta.
Lead by the Medvedev brothers Dimitri and Alexey and strengthened by the Swiss talent Nicola Rohrbach and the Italian Pippo
Lamastra, the team and its ambitious team manager and racer
Andrea Pendini are exceptionally well-equipped for the toughest
World Cup races ahead.
Alongside top physical and mental shape, the team riders rely
on high-quality bikes to grab the big wins. Corratec has equipped
the team with Revolution and X-Bow carbon hardtails, the
cream of the crop when it comes to state-of-the-art marathon
bikes. Michele Casagrande praised the riding ability of his XBow:
“In tough conditions the carbon racebike has the necessary
qualities to prevail on the singletrails and gain ground to
grab the podium positions.”
In their second season, team corratec-Elettroveneta has taken
control of various UCI Worldcup races, racking in fantastic
results and many a times dominating with start-to-fi nish wins.
The team already ranks amongst the top 15 UCI mountain bike
teams worldwide. The big goal is to be a part of the 2012 Olympic
Games in London.
